FinOps Governance
Context
As part of optimizing its Cloud governance, the client initiated a FinOps approach aimed at better controlling its expenses, structuring a reliable internal chargeback model, and increasing transparency on Cloud costs. To move from partial visibility to full and controlled cost management, the client relies on Avaliance to deploy the Apptio One tool, structure FinOps processes, and support business and IT teams in this transformation at the group level.
Challenges
The client needed a comprehensive and reliable view of its Cloud expenses to enable 100% internal chargeback and precise budget management.
The challenges also included integrating FinOps practices into existing Finance and IT processes, identifying cost optimization levers, industrializing FinOps best practices, and supporting change management across business and technical teams.
