Cloud Architecture Harmonization

Context

The client, a large international insurance group, initiated an initiative to harmonize and modernize the Cloud architectures across its various entities. This approach relies on both private and public Cloud environments and aims to strengthen the consistency, security, and performance of solutions deployed at the group level. To support this structural transformation, the client relies on Avaliance to define common Cloud architectures and support technical and business teams in their implementation.

Challenges

The client needed to ensure the consistency of Cloud architectures in a multi-entity and multi-environment context, while maintaining a high level of security, performance, and portability of solutions.

The challenges also included defining shared architecture frameworks, optimizing support for technical teams, and enabling the progressive scaling of Cloud infrastructures across the group.

Avaliance Intervention

Achievements

Avaliance deployed a structured Cloud architecture and governance approach, built around the following pillars:
  • support for technical teams in defining Cloud architectures across private and public environments

  • formalization of architecture principles and standards shared across the group

  • integration of security, performance, and portability requirements from the design phase

  • support for business and technical teams in adopting the defined architecture models

  • alignment of technical solutions with scaling objectives and industrialization of Cloud usage
