Cloud Center of Excellence
Context
In the context of a global Cloud transformation, the client established a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to structure Cloud adoption and harmonize technical practices across its various entities. This initiative aims to define a common governance framework, establish global technical standards, and support Business Units in designing their Azure architectures. To drive this strategic initiative and ensure consistency of the Cloud model, the client relies on Avaliance to structure the governance framework, guide teams, and accelerate project delivery.
Challenges
The client needed to implement a unified Cloud governance model based on a global hybrid framework while defining common standards applicable across all entities.
Key challenges included designing robust and compliant Azure architectures, creating shared Cloud components, upskilling teams, harmonizing practices across Business Units, and coordinating IT stakeholders in a complex international environment.

Achievements
-
definition of a global Cloud governance model and associated responsibilities (RACI)
-
implementation of shared standards (naming conventions, tagging, Azure Policies)
-
operational leadership of the CCoE and coordination of technical and business teams
-
design of scalable, resilient, and compliant Azure architectures
-
development of shared components (Data Lake, API Management, shared services) and support for Business Units
