Your role at Avaliance
As a Cloud and Storage Architect, you will work on digital transformation projects for multi-sector clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Cloud, Data, Cyber, Consulting).
Your main responsibilities
- Define HLD/LLD for Azure, AWS, and Private Cloud VMware, integrated with NetApp solutions (Azure NetApp Files, FSx for NetApp ONTAP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, ONTAP on-prem).
- Model patterns: NAS (NFS/SMB), backup and archiving, multi-region/DR.
- Size capacity and performance (IOPS/latency/throughput), and define RPO/RTO, SLA/SLO.
- Define HLD/LLD for observability (Active IQ Unified Manager, NetApp DII), capacity planning, and QoS.
- Manage costs: tiering (FabricPool to Blob/S3), storage classes, reservations/commitments.
Your profile
- 5–8 years of experience in storage architecture, including ≥3 years on NetApp ONTAP (cloud & on-prem).
- Proficiency in at least two environments among Azure, AWS, VMware, and hybrid patterns.
- Advanced experience in migrations (SnapMirror, XCP) and resilience (DRP, failover testing).
- Strong foundations in security (encryption, IAM, managed keys, hardening) and networking (NFS/SMB/iSCSI).
- Knowledge of Scripting / Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and operations automation.
