Azure Deployment Industrialization

Context

The client initiated a Cloud strategy aimed at accelerating the adoption of best practices and industrializing Azure deployments across the organization. As part of this initiative, the client implemented a Cloud libraries platform designed to provide a standardized catalog of Azure services in the form of Infrastructure as Code. To support this strategic initiative, the client relies on Avaliance to contribute to the design and industrialization of this shared technical foundation.

Challenges

The client needed to accelerate the adoption of Cloud practices while ensuring reusability, compliance, and consistency of Azure deployments.

The challenges included providing a reliable and industrialized technical foundation to facilitate Cloud project automation, reduce discrepancies between environments, and increase the maturity of internal teams in Infrastructure as Code practices.

Avaliance Intervention

Achievements

Avaliance deployed a DevOps approach focused on standardization and industrialization, built around the following pillars:
  • contribution to the design and enhancement of an Azure service catalog based on Infrastructure as Code

  • standardization of Cloud technical components to ensure consistent and compliant deployments

  • automation of Azure environment deployment and configuration

  • integration of Cloud best practices and security standards from the service design phase

  • support for internal teams in adopting and using the Cloud Shared Libraries platform
