DevOps Stream Structuring

Context

As part of its global digital transformation, the client, a large international group, launched an initiative to structure and industrialize its development and deployment practices. This initiative led to the creation of a DevOps stream responsible for automating pipelines, defining a common methodological framework, and supporting the migration to Microsoft Azure services. The program is built around a major initiative developed in collaboration with the Microsoft ecosystem, leveraging a wide range of Azure services. To lead and deploy this transformation globally, the client relies on Avaliance to define DevOps governance, industrialize pipelines, and ensure software quality.

Challenges

The client needed to deploy DevOps practices consistently across the group in a multi-site, international environment.

Key challenges included standardizing CI/CD pipelines, defining a sustainable and unified DevOps governance model, accelerating delivery cycles, improving software quality over time, and automating deployments across all global sites.
